The ICEA is a major professional association for educators and educational leaders. Our views are sought and respected by government and policy makers. ICAE is the country winner of the prestigious Educating Africa Award 2011, from the UK Teach a Man to Fish Organization, affiliate practitioner to the UNESCO World Heritage Center and accredited by the United Nations as a major Group for RIO+20.
ICEA draws its membership from all sectors of education in EGYPT, MENA Region and the whole world. Membership of ICEA means your support for their vision and mission of promoting education for sustainable development, citizenship and global citizenship.
ACEA is a leader in professional development and offers the opportunity to participate in professional development programs, , topical seminars and workshops in addition to providing members with opportunities to socialize and get together in the first community for international educators in Egypt.
Membership of ICEA is open for all educators on three levels:
Membership for Individuals:
Active membership: for experienced and trained educators and for that , proof of qualification, professional experience and language proficiency will have to be provided.
Associate members: Members who are taking our training & language proficiency courses in preparation for active membership.
Honorary Members: every person/entity that has supported ICEA by any means.
Corporate Membership:
For education providers who would like to join our community as a [corporate members]. for schools & enterprises).
Fees:
Individual:
The total fees required to complete your membership application is LE 400 for the first year, then LE 150 annually. The LE 400 fee includes a free course on Education for Sustainable Development, free language test and ICEA certification( for inclusion into ICEA database of educators.
ICEA fellows receive ICEA newsletters, scholarships, free career consultancy & Language Test, and ICEA discounts as a member)
Active members: LE 150
Associate Members: LE 150
ICEA fellowship : LE 50
Non Egyptians: $ 100
Corporate:
LE 1000 first year then 600 annually.
Upon review and approval of your completed application by ICEA board of counselors and receipt of your membership fees by the National Office, you will be eligible to complete the professional development and testing sessions and be initiated into ICEA DATABASE OF EDUCATORS.
